I been making video clips

So I haven’t posted anything here for a while. Been getting too distracted by other blogs, Facebook and other time wasting activities. In the last 6 months or so, I have managed to construct 3 video clips made entirely on my iPad with either free or very cheap apps.

This is the first one I made with a free app called 8mm HD. A cool little app, lets you film in ye olde style’s of the 50′s, 60′s or 70′s, as well as a few light leak filters and such. This video clip is for a song called ‘Quickly Lint!’ by the band I play in called Burgers of Beef. It was filmed in one take.

This next one is for my solo ‘side project’ Chimp. I made it after discovering the app iStopMotion. I was very excited to find this app and I’m really happy with how the clip turned out.

Finally we have another Burgers of Beef song ‘Monkeys Stole My Eggs’. Also made with iStopMotion, this one took me two full days to complete but it was totally worth it. (please note: lots of swear words in this song so beware)

Sakura Neko

Spring has just started, and at the moment we have some beautiful cherry or plum (it’s hard to tell the difference) blossoms in our backyard. Before they all blow of in the wind onto the ground I thought I would snip off a couple of branches and bring them inside. Literally within minutes of putting them in a vase and placing them onto a shelf, our cat Yuki jumped up to investigate. She just can’t handle something being different and needs to know what everything is.

An Icee, for those who don’t know, is the same thing as a slushy or slurpie. I think this was given to me by someone, but obviously it was a promotional item for Icee.

This dolphin has a magnet on the back, so you can handily have on your fridge for eraser emergencies.
